"This is very serious," Frankel, 54, declared as she walked into the State Line Diner on Route 17 in Mahwah (located just before the Rockland County, NY border) in a video shared to TikTok.
“If you don’t like a diner, something’s wrong with you,” Frankel said, ogling at the glossy menu, the desserts in the shiny display case, and full bar.
The former Bravo-lebrity ate at a booth in the diner but got several desserts to go, which she sampled on the gymnasium floor.
Among her favorites? The cannoli cheesecake and red velvet cheesecake, both of which scored a perfect 10.
Frankel was so impressed by the cannoli cheesecake that she nearly fell over eating it in the gym at the tournament (a bit dramatic, but we'll give this one to her), where her daughter, Bryn, was competing (click here for video). The red velvet cheesecake was extra special—she said it’s something she craved while pregnant with Bryn.
"I mean, get your wedding cake at the State Line Diner," Frankel said.
According to its website, the family-owned State Line Diner first opened in 1976 and has been renovated multiple times over the years.
"The reason behind our continued success is our usage of high quality ingredients in our vast menu as we only use certified Angus beef and fresh fish, in addition to our family friendly atmosphere," the website reads.
Not every item was a winner for Frankel, though. She wasn’t a fan of the chocolate cupcake, calling it a muffin with frosting, and scoring it a 5 out of 10. The biscotti? Chewy, but good—also a 5.
With two perfect 10s under its belt, State Line Diner may have just earned a new celebrity fan.
Frankel, who has 2.6M followers on TikTok, has become quite popular for her food-tasting videos and was recently crowned the queen of chicken salad for her own recipe.
